Last week Drs Reuben van Rensburg and Kevin Smith attended the WENSA Consultation, which was designed to follow up on the Lausanne conference held in Cape Town last October. Over 100 delegates from around South Africa were challenged by some excellent presentations, including one by Dr Kevin Smith on discipleship and were encouraged to implement the recommendations of the Cape Town Commitment.

There was ample opportunity for networking and a number of potential partnerships were forged. Sadly very few pastors attended, something which appears to be a growing trend at Christian conferences in South Africa.
