  • Dr Kevin Smith D.Litt. in Biblical Languages. Kevin,who is the Head of Academics and the Vice-Principal of SATS, obtained his doctorate from Stellenbosch University and is currently completing a D.Th. He has a deeply insightful approach to theology and has already made a meaningful contribution in his relatively short career.

  • Prof. Samuel Kunhiyop Ph.D. Sam completed his doctorate at Trinity International University, and Post Doctoral studies at Global Research Institute. He has been Professor Theology/Ethics at Jos ECWA Theological Seminary since 1993 and Provost since 1997. He is a Langham writer and one of the authors of the acclaimed Africa Bible Commentary.

  • Prof. Franklin Jabini D.Th., D.Min.
    Frank completed his doctoral studies at CBC and UNIZUL respectively. He is the former Provost of the Caribbean College of the Bible International and the President of the Evangelical School of Theology. He has extensive experience in missions and Bible translation.

  • DrRobert Ph.D Rob has many years of experience in education at various levels, particularly distance education. After moving from teaching in a high school, he became a teacher trainer and senior administrator at a College of Education that provided further education for serving teachers by means of distance education. After the closure of all such colleges, Rob became an Academic Subject Adviser at a private distance education institution, before joining SATS.

  • Dr Mark Pretorius Ph.D. Mark, who is the senior assessor at SATS, obtained his PhD from Pretoria University. He has written many philosophical articles on a wide variety of issues, including articles around the science and theology debate. His speciality is the study of metaphysics.

     

  • Dr Noel Woodbridge D.Ed, D.Th Noel has a D.Ed in Philosophy of Education from UNISA and a D.Th in Practical Theology from the University of Zululand. He was awarded a bursary from the Ernest Oppenheimer Memorial Trust Fund to create a Faculty Exchange at the San Diego State University (1992/1993). Noel has published numerous journal articles in the fields of Education and Practical Theology and has presented several papers to professional audiences. He currently serves as a Senior Academic at SATS.

     

  • Dr Dan Lioy Ph.D. Dan joined SATS in September 2005, after holding faculty appointments for fifteen years at several institutions of higher learning (Greenwich School of Theology, Southwestern College, and Marylhurst University). Dan earned a BSc in Electrical Engineering (USC, 1981), a ThM in Pastoral Theology (Dallas Theological Seminary, 1988), and a PhD in New Testament (North-West University, 2002). Dan has enjoyed a distinguished academic career, including the authorship of the best-selling Cook Bible Lesson Commentary series and the publication of Divine Sabotage, a provocative work dealing with Ecclesiastes. Dan currently serves as a Senior Academic in the PG School at SATS.

  • Dr Bill Grover D.Th. Bill taught special ed for 35 years in the USA ,holds graduate theological degrees from Point Loma Nazarene, Western Seminary, and Unizul, and, with H. Wayne House, is co author of "Does God Feel Your Pain?"

     

  • Gabriel Ndhlovu MA. Gabriel joined SATS in 2008 after his return from South Korea, where he served as a missionary for three and a half years in Seoul. He earned his BA at (Africa School of Missions, 2002), BA Honours (University of Pretoria, 2003), MA in Systematic Theology (University of Pretoria, 2006). He is currently doing his PhD in Systematic Theology at SATS, under the supervision of Prof Samuel Kunhiyop
