MySats

Having experimented with a number of online learning programmes, and after much research, in 2008 SATS launched MySATS. This exciting concept creates opportunities for students to join an online learning community, to work faster and to save time and money. MySATS is like being on campus!

Here you will find all the online courses of the South African Theological Seminary. You will collaborate with other students in an online learning community, using a range of online tools, including wikis, blogs and email discussion fora. Your fellow “classmates” could be in the same town or they could be in other parts of the world!

During 2009 more and more subjects will become available online. Contact jane@sats.edu.za for further details.

Naturally we will not abandon the traditional modes of delivery, namely print and downloads, but we believe that as more
and more students gain access to the internet, and especially broadband, a large percentage will move to MySats.

Read what students have to say about our e-learning courses:

"....the flow and the interaction is brilliant - it really is a great way to study - thanks."

"Thank you for your guidance and inspirational notes. I really learned a lot from the course. Amazing how one's life can change in 6 weeks. This was much more than I ever thought it would be - a great blessing."
